Overview

LinkAu helps you plan and navigate public transport in NSW. We’re committed to respecting your privacy and keeping data collection to a minimum necessary for the app to function.

Data We Collect

• Location: With your permission, LinkAu uses your device location to plan trips and show relevant walking guidance. Location is used in-app and not stored on our servers.
• Saved places: Home, Work, and Bookmarks are stored locally on your device.
• Service alerts: We fetch transport alerts from data providers to display in the app; these requests do not include personal identifiers.
• Ads (iOS): The iOS app may display ads using Google Mobile Ads. Please refer to Google’s policies for how ad-related data may be processed.

Analytics

We currently do not collect analytics. If this changes, we will update this page and provide an in-app notice.

Third-Party Services

LinkAu may interact with external services, such as transport data providers and, on iOS, advertising networks. These services have their own privacy practices.

Children’s Privacy

LinkAu is not directed to children under the age required by local regulations to consent to data processing without parental approval.

Your Choices

• Location permissions can be changed anytime in your device settings.
• You can remove saved places within the app.
